The body’s capacity to balance and heal itself has always fascinated me. In seeking the modality best suited for me, I was drawn to the ancient healing arts of Asia. The Boston Shiatsu School presented a broad spectrum of Japanese and Chinese healing techniques, all of them relying on the body’s innate intelligence to guide the session. Shiatsu is a clothed health care therapy that is performed on a futon. As a short person, this is a perfectly suited style for me. Coupled with the dynamic stretches of Thai massage, my Shiatsu sessions address the client’s body in the exact moment he or she comes to receive body work.

Heather has been a practitioner of the healing arts for over 11 years. Her past experience includes working with tri-athletes, sports massage, deep tissue, reiki, healing touch, cranial sacral, myofascial release, and pre/post natal massage. Currently Heather enjoys offering cranial sacral, deep tissue, pregnancy massage, shamanic healing, spiritual direction, breath work, and yoga. Jessica Van Antwerp
Jessica Van Antwerp studied Philosophy at Texas A&M University, which ultimately helped propel her into the study of more esoteric, Eastern philosophies around health, wellness, and spirituality. She has since become a certified Massage Therapist, Shiatsu Practitioner, and teacher of Yoga and Qigong. Her work blossoms from a foundation of harmonic holism, from the understanding that opposites merge, play, and intertwine to create the whole.
