Regular massage is a wonderful compliment to your healthcare routine; it assists with pain, anxiety, depression, headaches, circulation issues and physical and emotional trauma. My goal as a therapist is to offer relaxation and relief to these symptoms, as well as many others. Intuition, sensitivity and in-depth knowledge of the body, along with health history provide me with the most informed decision of what techniques to use.
My work is nurturing, deep, and energetic, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I use an integrative blend of Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu and Reiki and received my massage training from The Boulder College of Massage Therapy. In the past, I have worked as a teacher for young children and am currently a ceramic artist. These professions contributed immensely to my practice as a massage therapist. As a teacher, I learned the necessities of nurture and flexibility, and how to communicate important issues and assist with growth and development. As an artist, I am continuously finding inspiration and similarities from clay and the human body. Working with the clay has enabled me to develop sensitivity, strength, creativity and grounding. As a therapist, I honor each client by allowing my heart and hands to listen and flow with what is needed during the session. These passions have aided in my abilities to use both science and art in my work and I look forward to working with you!
