The Boston Shiatsu School presented a broad spectrum of Japanese and Chinese healing techniques, all of them relying on the body’s innate intelligence to guide the session. Shiatsu is a clothed health care therapy that is performed on a futon. As a short person, this is a perfectly suited style for me. Coupled with the dynamic stretches of Thai massage, my Shiatsu sessions address the client’s body in the exact moment he or she comes to receive body work. It has been my honor to witness incredible healing events since beginning my practice in 1998. I continue to practice Shiatsu in the traditional futon style.

Additional on-going training in Ki-Aikido, Ashtanga yoga and Kettlebell Fitness continues to enrich the service I offer my clients. Please see my website for more information. www.MindBodyEnergetics.us

“It is amazing to witness what has been frozen in the body begin to thaw – muscle contractions, neurological patterns, psychological tensions, etc. To me, massage is a partner dance that makes the stuck unstuck again, and allows healthy vitality and life-force flow through the body, on all levels.”

Love, and good touch, heals!

Bodywork can help flush our bodies of these toxins, relieving us of the stress of accumulated past experiences, allowing energy to flow freely and restoring balance to our bodies so that we can heal ourselves and more fully experience the present moment.

It is from this foundational belief that I do bodywork, fusing a variety of modalities including Shiatsu, Pain and Injury Treatment, Deep Tissue and Polarity. Add the most important element, love, to the mix and you get a profound and unique session that is different every time.

Thank you, Jessica

In my years of experience, I have found that bodywork is a unique exploration between therapist and client. I am drawn to working with anyone who seeks awareness and health within their body. I believe the healing process is sacred and must be met with compassion, respect and love. I intuitively create a safe space and relationship with my clients and encourage honest feedback and clear communication.

In addition to 1000 hours of certified training, I then furthered my education at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy to attain an Associates degree in medical massage, trauma work and craniosacral therapy. I use a combination of deep myofascial work, structural integration techniques, and craniosacral therapy. I have been told that my work is strong, grounded, deeply nurturing and transformational. I am curious, heart centered and focused as I work and engage with each session as a meditation practice. I love what I do.

Please feel free to contact me via email or phone with any questions at all and I look forward to working with you.

Ann

Hi* My name is Mandie. I have been sharing bodywork for over 5 years after receiving training as a Massage Therapist and Natural Therapeutic Specialist at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics.

Opening our minds and hearts to possibility, filling ourselves with breath and sharing a wide variety of modalities will guide us to experiencing deep sensation and bring space and peace to areas of tension creating an atmosphere for alignment.

I embrace daily evolution in my awareness and metamorphic style, ‘Intuitive Balancing’. Cooperative healing occurs when there is intention, agreement and joining of efforts between parties. All contribute, all benefit. Feedback from individuals I have had the opportunity to work with has been very positive and encouraging and they move forward feeling en-lightened.
