While Frogger does not offer bodywork, he makes people smile and is quite the favorite of passing children (who love to pat his head.) As our official greeter and mascot Frogger’s goal is to make people laugh and feel at ease . He also sets the tone for the experience we want each client to have as the pass through our doors – to find balance, peace and stillness amidst the often chaotic day to day demands of our modern lives.

Although Frogger is constantly admired and photographed, he has remained as humble as ever. Whether rain, or snow he never complains and quietly stays his station at our door. When not working at the Bisto, Frogger enjoys watching movies, drinking Bhakti Chai and (of course) getting massages! He looks forward to greeting you on your next stop in to the Bistro.

Thank you reading my bio. As a Gymnastics Instructor I have been training people in body and joint specific movements for the last 15 years. Since graduating from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy with 1000 credit hours, my passion has been to realign structure. This removes pain and brings the body to a healthier state. I enjoy working in a deep, energetic style, using techniques learned from shiatsu, structural integration, vocal training, trigger point therapy, sports, orthopedics and multiple stretching styles. I am honest, respectful, and love to teach clients about their body. Our sessions will be goal and result oriented with consideration of how everything is interconnected.

Eric studied massage at Southern California School of Massage Therapy. The very detailed learning program incorporated both Eastern and Western healing modalities and theories. This incorporation brought forth a whole body approach where each person is treated as an individual and their needs are compassionately addressed.

Eric worked for 6 years at Westgate Chiropractic Center where he was able to successfully help a wide range of people-including persons involved
in car accidents, police officers, doctors, nurses, business men and woman, expectant mothers, teenagers, children, seniors and many more.

His greatest joy has been to help people who come to him with chronic pain and unique bodily challenges, to receive comfort, relaxation, greater body movement and freedom from pain. He utilizes the massage modalities of deep tissue, structural integration and relaxing Swedish massage along with Reiki and other energetic healing modalities.

Each session is tailored to your specific needs and desires for your body, mind and spirit. It has been through Eric’s continued dedication to self growth and his commitment to face the experiences of his own life with humor and compassion, that he discovered a gift for helping others with the same deep compassion and understanding.

I’m Rachel and I’m a native of Boulder. I graduated from The Boulder College of Massage Therapy with 1000 hours of training. I have a very special talent in bringing the love, compassion and sensitivity to your bodywork session in a variety of different massage modalities. I have the ability to listen deeply with my hands, tuning into your special needs for your bodywork session.

I specialize in integrative massage therapy, bringing together mind & body with Swedish, Reflexology, and the Normalization of Soft Tissue (a specific technique combining deep tissue and trigger point therapy.) Many clients have commented that I have a soothing, comforting and relaxing touch. I focus on relieving the pain and stress that you may be feeling, helping to bring you the relief and comfort that you need.

I have worked on a wide variety of people including police officers, the elderly, people with disabilities, and children.

Growing up I developed a deep love for animals whom I passionately love training, working with and helping to heal. I have a passion for working with the disabled and have volunteered at the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center. I also trained my Great Dane to be a therapy dog and we visit nursing homes and hospitals. I also specialize in doing bodywork for canines and equines. I have 20 years of experience with these amazing animals and I greatly enjoy helping them to feel their best. I have studied the psychology of animals all my life and am happy to give advice to anybody who has a question about their own. I own everything from snakes to horses so I have a wide range of knowledge. Please contact me to ask about rates for your pet to receive some love!

Thanks

The Boston Shiatsu School presented a broad spectrum of Japanese and Chinese healing techniques, all of them relying on the body’s innate intelligence to guide the session. Shiatsu is a clothed health care therapy that is performed on a futon. As a short person, this is a perfectly suited style for me. Coupled with the dynamic stretches of Thai massage, my Shiatsu sessions address the client’s body in the exact moment he or she comes to receive body work. It has been my honor to witness incredible healing events since beginning my practice in 1998. I continue to practice Shiatsu in the traditional futon style.

Additional on-going training in Ki-Aikido, Ashtanga yoga and Kettlebell Fitness continues to enrich the service I offer my clients. Please see my website for more information. www.MindBodyEnergetics.us

“It is amazing to witness what has been frozen in the body begin to thaw – muscle contractions, neurological patterns, psychological tensions, etc. To me, massage is a partner dance that makes the stuck unstuck again, and allows healthy vitality and life-force flow through the body, on all levels.”

Love, and good touch, heals!

Bodywork can help flush our bodies of these toxins, relieving us of the stress of accumulated past experiences, allowing energy to flow freely and restoring balance to our bodies so that we can heal ourselves and more fully experience the present moment.

It is from this foundational belief that I do bodywork, fusing a variety of modalities including Shiatsu, Pain and Injury Treatment, Deep Tissue and Polarity. Add the most important element, love, to the mix and you get a profound and unique session that is different every time.
